This is the only one of Lewes in private hands of this Jewel cross bust left type, the other is recorded in the Royal Coin Cabinet, Stockholm. Part IV. Anglo-Saxon coins: Harold I and Harthacnut, Sylloge of Coins of the British Isles 40 (1991), coin no. 82.
