Uncrowned & No Collar "Watford" Penny, c1.1g, c1136-45, +ST (IEF) NE: Bust r. hldg. sceptre, the bust has no studded collar, his hair has a 'pudding basin cut' style & is not crowned./?fric, Norwich, (+??) FRIC:ON:NO(R). I have found no other penny of Stephen which is uncrowned & has no collar thus this is an "unpublished" type of the highest rarity. As for the moneyer my best guess is Alfric, if so this is also unknown as there is no moneyer with ??FRIC in his name.

Edge nibble at 1 o'clock, minor crease mark & over cleaned, ¼ flat, all in NVF/GF-NVF.
