REPUBLIC - Anonymous

Post-semiliberal Semis, ca.215-212BC, ca.32mm, ca.29.2g.

Rome mint. Hd Saturn r./Prow r, S.

A McCabe notes: Interesting only due to its very large module and very heavy weight which places it with Crawford 41. Cleaned, and tooled, probably a die match with Essays Hersh plate 15 coin 8 (both dies) although it is difficult to be certain due to the extent of cleaning. For comparable prow details see Essays Hersh plate 15 coin 3.
