EXCESSIVELY RARE - 1 of 3 known. No example published in the major collections of Scottish coins. The coin was listed as "Unique" in the first edition of SCBC Scotland; in the second edition it is listed as "Extremely rare" and unpriced.
This type clearly reads CIVITA SANDRE whereas the CNG example Auction 63/Lot 1976 dated May 2003 states CIVITAS SANDRE. This coin is clearly from the same dies.
