See Spink 5282 note there is no I above crown, A and T by neck or even I in centre of reverse, thus not recorded by Spinks Coins of Scotland, Ireland. Coincraft's Standard Catalogue of Scotland Ireland etc, records the type - SJ32D-035 as probably unique. I have spoken to Mark Davidson, one of the authors of this catalogue and he informs me that Baldwin's sold the one they listed in their catalogue many years back and that he thought that this is the same coin. Must be EXCESSIVELY-RARE thus Ex:- B. Tregear Collection. |
