Crondall phase Gold Thrymsa (Shilling), c620-645, c12mm, c1.2g. London-derived, head r. within banded hatching./Cross within pelleted circle, blundered inscription ar. S754, M (same dies as 29) Well centred displaying almost all the banded circle and the truncation of the neck. The reverse is lightly double struck and overall the exhibits little if any wear. This type seems not to have been offered in the market-place for some years whereas the Witman seems to have been. EXTREMELY RARE |
